I need a nap!

So we are all doing good. Well other than I cry over every thing and Kooper can't seem to sleep the same every night some nights he does great and only get up every 4-6 hours and others he gets up every 15-45 minutes....aaaarrrrggg.... But we're hanging in there! Mom has been awesome and been doing pictures so go check out her blog too. You can even see Jocelyn's hair before she decided to cut her own hair AGAIN..... so she is going to be getting it cut short again... those pictures will be coming soon. Thanks every one for the gifts and yummy dinners we really appreciate it!

We are home!

After 4 very long days in the hospital we are so glad to be home. I will do the whole long birth story later but the quick basic details are as follows. I went to my 35 week appointment and we told to go strait to the hospital we had to have the baby I was preaclamtic. AAAHHHHH.... after 30+ hours of being induced he finally made his grand entrance at 10:12 pm Tuesday night weighing in at 5 pounds 9 ounces. I feel so blessed to have had such a big 35 weeker. He has had to problems at all so far. He didn't have to have any extra oxygen or any special treatment I am so grateful. If you want to see pictures of him you can check out my mom's blog she has been taking all kinds of REALLY GREAT pictures and watch for more to follow she is still going though the 400+ pictures she took over the last few days and is going to be doing a photo shoot of him today to get even more.... I can't wait!

We are all doing well and and other than being sore and tired I am feeling 100 times better than I did be for. But laying in a hospital bed for 4 days is enough to make any one hurt!

Less than 5 weeks to go!!!!

I have 4 weeks and 5 days until my due date and with any luck he will decide to come a week or so early. He dropped late Thursday night and now I can't hardly walk again. I can only lift my feet about an inch to walk and going up and down the stairs and getting in and out of the suburban are REALLY painful. I am how ever VERY grateful that I had some time where I was able to go shopping and do the things I wanted too. I still need to do some shopping but between Bryan, my mom and his mom they can get the last of the things I need to get. All I want to do is lay in bed all day. It is the only place that I can be with out just being in total agony. But have less than 5 weeks to go so I know I can make it! I hope! I had mom do a quick maternity shoot yesterday so that if I don't get feeling any better that at least I have a few pictures and since I couldn't stand to do very many at a time we only took for 30 minutes half of which I was siting on a stool not getting my picture taken. It is really sweet.
Tate is still loving school every day when he gets off the bus and I ask how his day was he says, "GREAT" He really enjoys going and learning and playing and I have enjoyed the break.

Chase is well.... he is..... a total character. He has a really good sense of humor and thinks he is so funny.... just like his daddy. But what a real sweet heart. I can't believe how much he says that we can understand. His new phrase this weeks is "AH MAN" and you have to see his face when he says it it is so funny.
Bryan is working hard at work and then has to come home and make dinner and do dishes and laundry. I feel so bad that I can't help more but I really can't do more. But Bryan has been so wonderful I am so grateful for such a kind loving husband that takes such good care of us.

Mom had me and the kids go down to the temple to just play and take a few pictures. These are some of my favorite ones. This first one is my FAVORITE one of the day! I love it! Jocelyn loves to hug on Cooper or is it going to be Kooper. I think I want to spell it with a K but Bryan is not so sure about it. What do you think?

This is a typical snapshot in our little world. Me talking to one while another is trying to get my attention and one not listening and trying to get in to some thing while I am not looking. Chase was trying to get away to go run again! I think the picture says it all. I don't know what I am going to do with one more. I am really starting to worry about having 4.

Chase was so excited about seeing Jesus and in another picture Tate was counting Jesus's toes and was excited that he had the same number as Jesus. The small joys in life that make me so grateful that I am MOM! There is no greater job in the whole world it is all that I have ever wanted to do. In school they would ask what we wanted to be when we grew up and I always said a mom and my teachers always told me that wasn't a real job. My be it was because they had never done it and I think it is harder than most any other job out there. No calling out sick no days off and the 24 hour a day thing some times gets to me but the hugs and kisses and I love you's get me though! I just wish there wasn't so many messes and poopy diapers to go along with it all.

I love the sweet way the kids are looking at Jesus. I think I am going to have this one printed and hang it on the wall. I love it!

So as I am starting to panic that we are really having another one and besides there is things I need to still buy be for the baby gets here in the the next 6 weeks and all the baby stuff that needs to pulled out of boxes and the bassinet and swing need to be set up. I am getting excited to have a new wonderful spirit to fill our home. The kids are so excited to have another brother I know that they are going to be great and love him so much! Bryan is ever getting excited this time around. I can't wait to see what this new baby is going to be like since the other 3 not only don't look alike but are so different.... I am ready for this adventure..... or at least I think I am!

Playing Catch up

Well it has been a while since I posted last sorry I am not staying updated better so much has been going on and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by every thing. But I am starting to get back into the swing of things and getting back to a schedule even though it is a new one.

Christmas has come and gone and what a great Christmas it was we got lots of great things and I even got a big surprise this year. Bryan got me the phone I wanted but the way it happened I got it be for Christmas. He got me the new G1 which is the best phone ever I love it! So because I got the expensive phone I wasn't expecting any thing else but Santa got me the 5 qt Kitchen Aid I wanted..... and it is even in red! I was so excited! I have only used it once since I haven't done much baking because we all keep being sick. The kids got bunk beds from Santa and what a night mare that was but that is for another post. They also got a TV and DVD player in their room so that I can be in my room and they are up stairs when I am not being able to get out of bed and to play the smart cycle Mam-maw and Joseph got them for Christmas. Tate got lots of Wall-e things and Jocelyn got lots of movies and clothes one of which is the dress in the picture below it was her special gift form me since she is such a big helper. Chase got the big dinosaur that I wanted to get him since I was able to get it for $100 on clearance I was so excited to get it for him and he LOVES it! Bryan didn't get alot this year but he did get every thing he asked for. And then I got him clothes which he didn't but needed:) Oh and we got a Blu Ray player which was a wonderful gift thanks mom!

Tummy Baby update. I tripped and fell befor Christmas and landed on my tummy in mom's front yard. I feel so dumb but the baby stoped moving after I fell for 45 minutes I was so scared but we went to the hospital and got to hear his heart beat and then he started moving and has been moving REALLY good ever since. We also got to see him at my last Dr.'s appointment to make sure every thing was ok and guess what he is still a boy...lol.... and we have deiced on a name finally.... yeah.... It is going to be Cooper Benjamin Rookhuyzen. I love the name cooper and the nickname Coop.

Jocelyn is loving school. She was sad that winter break was so long. But she was so excited to get to see Uncle Josh and spend so much time with Bryce and Abby. She is really starting to grow up she has been a huge help for me I don't know what I would do with out her. She is so excited for the new baby and kisses him good night every night!

Tate has started preschool he goes a few days a week and gets to ride the bus to and from school. It is nice for him to be getting the help he needs and a break for me. He gets to sleep on the top bunk of the bunk beds because after one night Jocelyn decided she didn't like to and he loves to sleep up there. I am just glad one of them do.

Where do I start with Chase he is such a nut! He has been really sick lately he got sick on Christmas and was throwing up for a week after what a mess I am so glad he is over that one but now he like the rest of us has a really bad head cold. The other day I was siting and he came up to me and touched my tummy and I said Baby Cooper and he said "No Baby Cooper my Baby Dinosaur" he said the whole thing so clear I couldn't believe it. He has been calling Cooper a Baby Dinosaur for quite a while now but it was so funny. Chase is also a bottomless pit we can't keep enough food in this kids he is always hungry and eats all his food and what every one else doesn't too. He is just like his Uncle Zach!

Mom took these pictures after Brendl cut their hair which they all needed badly and she did a great job! But mom got a second light and all 3 were excited to get their picture taken. I am hoping that me and mom get feeling better soon so that we can get some belly pictures soon:)
